“Our family met up with 3 other families to share the Chateau for a week. It was a fabulous way to spend time together and explore the Loire Valley. William and Susy made our stay easy and fun by recommending local activities and coordinating two evenings of catered meals. I highly recommend this property. It’s a idyllic property and has several on-site activities. We utilized the pool almost every day with the kids.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!”

“We (two couples) loved our stay at Gizeux. Stéphanie is a generous host with her time and hospitality. Our stay started perfectly with a home cooked meal and stories about the history of the château. Gizeux is an excellent base to explore the Loire and its magnificent châteaux. At the end of the day it was always very special driving back to our very own! The family is doing an incredible job of preserving the château and it was an absolute privilege to make it our home for a few days.”

“The chateau was spotlessly clean and perfect for a weekend reunion with friends. All 18 (ensuite) bedrooms were made up beautifully with towels and shower gel left for each guest. Communication with the property owner/manager was ok however I thought I would leave the following notes for anyone looking to hire the property in the future. - There are both coffee filter and pod machines available in the chateau (many of the bedrooms have coffee pod machines I them too!) - The chateau is well...

“Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, le personnel sympathique le seul bémol nous étions coté gare donc le bruit du passage des trains est gênant, mal dormi malgré une bonne literie.”

“Toaletten var mycket sunkig när vi checkat in, den var ostädad. Kanske hade vi otur bara, men förstörde hela första intrycket. Lägenheten var ganska rymlig och bekvämt med en kyl och kokplattor . Men spisen var trög. Det finns ingen AC så det har varit mycket varmt. Alla vi hade svårt att sova. ”
