“This is our second stay at this VRBO. Again, well stocked; everything is easily accessible. Considerations are definitely made for guests in mind. Comfortable upstairs bed. Haven't used downstairs bedrooms as our children are in college and have not been able to join us on our past couple trips. Home itself is nice and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe. We will definitely be back.”

“Took my niece for a quick hiking getaway - This house is perfectly located and - best of all for us - dog friendly. Fully fenced yard for the puppers to run and play and some excellent scenic walking right around the house as well - Nice to be away from more touristy and trafficked Tahoe but close enough to easily drive. “Overall, we truly loved the chalet and our visit to Tahoe! The cabin is a little far from town, so keep that in mind. The cabin was very clean, we just ran into some issues with our bed sheets upon arrival, but Jack was a doll and brought us clean sheets late at night! The main bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I have back issues too so it was very apparent to me, but it might not be for someone else. That is really my only complaint. “We all enjoyed the weekend from the grandparents to the grandkids. The kids loved the game room and they were able to sleep in the.same area without disturbing the other levels. We appreciated all the amenities. The weekend was made more special because so many of us could be together.”

“The cabin is cozy, clean, quiet and conveniently located . My husband and I met our friends that are a family of 4. The bedroom with the queen bed and bunk beds worked perfectly for the friends. It was nice having a little living room separate from the cozy TV room. The kitchen is sufficiently supplied. Would definitely stay again.”

“We had a great time in Kirkwood. Enjoyed having the great room and fireplace. Perfect place to share with a family or two. Great selection of board games! Nothing flash but it all works and house gets cosy quickly - we arrived late and it was cold at first. We loved being able to ski to and from the property to Timber Creek (lots of traversing but doable). The shuttle service is an excellent alternative if you’re not up for this. Liz could not have been more helpful or communicative with us.”

“Perfect location to go on hikes snowboarding and visit heavenly village. The property has a Perfect area for snowplay. My kids had a blast just playing in the backyard sledding and snowball fighting. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything to cook home meals make cakes and bbq outside.”

“The cabin is well situated, less than 30 min from the Bear Valley ski resort. It's very clean, well equipped, and highly functional. We found it very spacious and it exceeded our expectations. Very clear and prompt communication with the host. We would definitely rent it again.”
