“Great location. Very walkable to all the fun things Elkin has to offer, including a local brewery/pizza place and a fantastic cocktail bar. Hiking trails for all levels within walking distance from room. Nice studio room, very clean, but a little small for two adults. Needs comfortable seating, task lighting and bedside tables of some sort. 3.5 out of 5”

“The property would have been a little difficult to find had it not been for the excellent directions (complete with photos of the street entrance) of the owner. He was a text away the whole weekend. Location is convenient to all the Mount Airy has to offer. This place is a great find!”

“We enjoyed our stay for our son’s graduation from Wake Forest. The apartment is neat and clean and spacious enough for 3-4 people. The bed and the inflatable mattress were both comfortable. We walked to many of our favorite restaurants (Mozzelle’s, 4th St Filling Station, Krankie’s, Camel City BBQ) as well as to the Long Branch city trail. It was a quick and easy drive to WFU. We loved the beautiful historic building, and the rooftop pool and views are unique for Winston-Salem.”

“This is a wonderful property. The space is on a dead end street overlooking a peaceful wooded area. The King size bed was so comfortable and the space so quite I fell asleep easily. We would use this space again. Elkin is a great town to visit.”

“My girlfriends and I plan weekend getaways a few times a year. We all live within one hour of Elkin and enjoy being out in nature. There are so many things to do in the area from hiking, kayaking, wine hopping and more. Three Trails was a perfect spot within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and modern with all the amenities you may want or need. Our host was available and kept me informed. Definitely will stay again! Thank you”

“I loved this spacious apartment with beautiful floors, tall ceilings, and the feel of an updated, super clean old historic home. Everything was as advertised and it is easy to access downtown Winston-Salem just minutes away. I was there for an event and also tried some local coffee shops, restaurants, and beautiful pathways for long walks with lovely views. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This house suited our needs perfectly. We were in town for a college graduation and it was very convenient to Wake Forest as well as the down town area for restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room to stretch out instead of being in a cramped hotel room!”

“Location was walking distance from several eateries, room was really nice and roomy, however most of the shops were closed. Elevator was broken, room was three flights of stairs up from the back of property. Family really enjoyed the stay”

“Jeff was great and so easy to work with. We used the home for dual purpose of place to stay/ family event. There is a patio and courtyard with plenty of room for an event. Jeff was super easy to work with and was readily available to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this stay and plan to use it again in the future!”

“The hosts were so kind and accommodating when we needed to come to the area to manage my mother's estate. The adorable bungalow was comfortable and well stocked and we were so grateful to them for going the extra mile to get the fold out bed ready for our daughter when they new we were going to have a very late night check in. We extend our thanks for their compassion and flexibility to accommodate us so last minute. We will gladly return to their home when duty calls again.”

“Perfect! Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean, wonderful and gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, beautiful landscaping!! Nearby Mt Airy is a great place to spend the day…Andy Griffith Museum, Gertrude Smith House, so many unique shops, great local eating establishments. Make sure to check out Kim’s unique metal art sold at Mayberry Antiques!!!! Go hiking at Hanging Rock State Park and check out the five waterfalls. Can’t wait to return!
