“This is the second year we have stayed at this home for our winter holiday. We have enjoyed our visits and found the home to have everything we need. We were pleased to find the fireplace in working order, even though we received a note that it was not working. That and the large kitchen are the natural gathering spots for our family. Watching the ice fishing on the lake is an added bonus. Thank you for sharing this lovely property. We'll be back!”

“The lake house was beautiful and everything flowed very nicely! This house is a wonderful space to gather with friends and family! There are a few steps getting to the lake so if people have mobility issues I can see it being a problem, but it didn’t bother us during the stay! We would book this place again!”

“Our family and our dog had a great kick off to summer here at Joan's place on Crystal Lake. Our kids loved the kayaks and canoes, taking a run around the lake, and s'mores by the fire. Our family loved grilling on the large deck overlooking the lake. The neighbors were kind and Joan was a great host, even saving the day when our dog made a surprise early morning escape from his harness. Great experience!”

“There is great attention to detail. The linens, blankets and towels were all so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes and everything needed for cooking, all is good shape. A walk to the lake gets you exercise and there is a dock with benches and a place to swim. The view from the house is beautiful. Thank you!!”

“If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

“Everything about the property was as advertised or better. Valarie was an exceptional communicator always responding to messages immediately. Everything about the house is high quality. I had some concerns about having to cross a street to get to the private beach but those concerns turned out to be unfounded. Very little traffic. We would definitely go back.”

“This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”

“The property has a lot of potential. There is no sandy beach access on the property , just the long dock area. Not sure if another party left right before we arrived, beds were made and it was tidied , but could have used a better overall cleaning. (Floors , countertops, mopping etc.) Definitely a campground feel. Overall beautiful views and had a wonderful stay .”

“Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. There is a fire pit outside and an abundance of nature. The outdoor shower is relaxing too. The beds are so comfy and you have everything you need inside that place. We will be coming back here,...
