“This is a great property at a great location. There is a park right behind it that has been newly updated. It has a walking track, cornhole and plenty of stuff to play on for the kids. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Will stay here again.”

“This house is perfect and Morgan was a wonderful host. Our plan was to bring our boat for a short fishing trip, but our boat broke down right before our visit. I mentioned it to Morgan and he offered to reach out to Big Dog Charters, I'm so thankful that they were able to accommodate our group and we fished all day! “What a great trip! We stayed at this camp from 4/3/24 to 4/07/24 and it was exactly as described. Very roomy, very clean, and very nicely appointed. The area under the back deck is perfect for fishing and crabbing out of the elements. The location was great - close to several fishing spots that we frequent. “We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. “The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches...

“Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding.
