“Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend however it was early in the season so we were a few days early and the bar and restaurant closed at 4 PM which was not the most convenient. But overall enjoyed our stay there and will likely come back again.”

“We chose to stay at Maxwelton Braes Lodge ecause of its location near friends and because of the adjacent golf course. We had a comfortable stay in a clean room, but were disappointed that the previous Thyme Restaurant was no ,onger operating in the lodge. There is a limited menu restaurant operation that is open part of the week, but never for breakfast. We were also disappointed that the lodge is not located to allow walking or hiiking to other Baileys Harbor points of interest or dining. The...

“The property isn’t the newest but it is SO BEAUTIFUL! We got in super late and only stayed one night as we were traveling, but the room has a back porch overlooking the lake and it is very rustic and homey. The room we had was small but very quaint and perfect for me and my husband. We will definitely be back!! ”

“I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay! First off, the house was even better than what the pictures show, the beds are larger and very comfortable! The home can comfortably sleep a large group. Not only did we feel like we were staying in a hallmark movie, but the owners were amazing! Very kind and reasonable. We plan to come back here many times in the future! I couldn’t recommend this place more!”

“We have always enjoyed our time at Kings Landing. Excellent location and great yard for our dog. Lots of restaurants and shops are walking distance. The marina is also a good place for bird and boat watching. Will try to come back soon.”

“Ages 3 to 96 years greatly enjoyed a 1 week stay. The setting, layout and proximity to grocery shopping were perfect. Very comfortable and well equipped for our group of 8 to 12 staying over with 4 to 6 people visiting from another lakeside rental. “We loved watching the Deer with their babies in the meadow in front of the cabin. Everyone had their own space and the sound proofing is fantastic to allow our teens and young adults to stay up a little later than the adults!! Close to town and highway 42 for easy access to all that Door County has to offer.”
