“We had a great time for our family vacation. The lake was almost empty every day so the kids had a blast tubing. House was great. The only negative was the master doesn’t have walls all the way to the ceiling. If we didn’t have teenagers who wanted to stay up later than us it wouldn’t have been a problem though.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better place for our sturgeon fishing time. Excellent place to end a day on the river. Plenty of room to relax, shoot some pool, throw darts, enjoy the rustic bar or veg out in front of the large screen TV while the jukebox plays a wide range of tunes. Large kitchen for meal prep. Great sleeping arrangements on the upper level. Darby the host is great, very easy to communicate with. We'll be back again.”

“We had to make a trip to Bemidji with our family for a birthday party. Our stay at The Little Gem was perfect. We didn't have time to take the kayaks out but loved enjoying the view from the dock, campfire and s'mores by the lake and the simple comfort of the house. The space was clean, bright and inviting and we look forward to returning.”

“Great property, especially from the double kitchens, double set washer/dryers, jacuzzi tubs, double family rooms and much more! Served our family gathering of 14 people well. From the ages of 1 year old to a 90-year-old. The campfires were popular with everyone. The managers were extremely helpful with recommendations and very responsive if we needed anything. We give this host and property a five-star rating!”

“This is the best eqipped VRBO property we've ever had the pleasure of using. The location is private yet very convenient to local establishments. “Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!”
