“Fantastisk utsikt, nybyggt och fräscht!”

“The host was very communicative and gave us local recommendations. Her kitchen was closed but she still made us a pizza as we hadn’t eaten in awhile. She also allowed us to sit in her kitchen 30 minutes early for breakfast and eat about 10 minutes early too. We got our own tiny home to rest in for the two days we stayed. “Really, things were pretty good. We liked the location and I enjoyed my run on the horse trail. "Room with a view" would have been pretty accurate on the other side of the building. Our view was of farm equipment and a bus. That wasn't a huge problem really. The host asks that windows and doors stay closed (to keep out insects) and that temperature on thermostat not be adjusted. However, we were so utterly uncomfortable because it was soooo hot in the room. Sorry, but we had to break the rules...

“Cozy comfortable house in a great location”

“The road to this cabin was a very long, secluded, bumpy dirt road. We came across a couple who had gotten a flat tire on the road which made me very nervous because it was just my daughter and I solo on this trip. That aside, the cabin was beautiful. “We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”

His daughter, Christelle, met us in Reykjavik and drove out, leading the way to their home. She was available to answer any questions about how to work the appliances, etc. She was very helpful.
