“This stay was everything I expected and more. I could just step off the boat and be fishing in seconds. We caught 11 different kinds of fish and the crab pot yielded 8 stone crabs. We ate out at Bowen's Island Restaurant and the Crab Shack at Folly Beach both just a few miles away. We just had door dash bring us dinner our last night and sat out on the boat and enjoyed the surrounding salt marsh and river. There is no doubt I'll be staying there again on my next visit to Charleston. Best Stay...

“This is a nice place to stay! The staff was very accommodating to request. There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days”

“Enjoyed the property and check in, wasn’t expecting the $51 daily resort charge, seriously makes me reconsider further stays. The overall room and bed were fine, the floors and bath were not spic and span. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. ”
