“We had a great time in Kirkwood. Enjoyed having the great room and fireplace. Perfect place to share with a family or two. Great selection of board games! Nothing flash but it all works and house gets cosy quickly - we arrived late and it was cold at first. We loved being able to ski to and from the property to Timber Creek (lots of traversing but doable). The shuttle service is an excellent alternative if you’re not up for this. Liz could not have been more helpful or communicative with us.”

“We had a great stay at the property. It had everything we needed to get some comfortable rest and daily hiking. Made breakfast daily and not too far from some restaurants up the road. Spent the first snowy evening in the hot tub and hiked locally the first day. Took a short drive to Fallen Leaf Lake where we hiked the next day. The mountain venue is spectacular!”

“Had a great time at Gary’s place. Terry, the property manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately the washing machine broke before our arrival, so we didn’t have access to it during our stay. Terry let us know in advance and both she and Gary were accommodating to our arrival time, even though it was outside the checkin time. The cabin is great!
