They recommended The tree house cafe for breakfast and that was an excellent choice. I think the hotel is even better when their spectacular pool is open. The place has an interesting story. I was told Marilyn Monroe used to come there to hide ;-)”

“I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.”

“The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.”
