“The Villa itself was spectacular. It was beautifully situated in the hills above Portofino and the views of the Ligurian Sea were striking. “The house is lovely. It's nice and big and we could spread out. The Property manager made sure we had everything we needed. But there are some drawbacks. The bathrooms don't have regular showers. Four of the five bathrooms have handheld showers in a bathtub which is a little difficult for Americans who are not used to it. The lighting in the kitchen is very poor and we like to cook. The utensils and pots and pans were also not great, and made it difficult to cook.”

“Beautiful Italian style house. The views were incredible. Owner very responsive. Two large outdoor patios. One patio overlooks the sea and the other the valley and town. We had breakfast overlooking the town and dinner overlooking the sea. You could see the 250 foot yatchs in the water just below us. One we recognized from Fort Lauderdale.”

Sylvie recommended the restaurant, Peppen and it was the best place we have eaten in a long time. The owner was gracious and fed us way too much wonderful food. “Great old home decorated well in the mountains of small town. Naps pool side under the veranda listening to the nature all around was a daily event. We had plans to go to Portifino but never made it. The property was a nice escape after being in very crowded cities. I would stay here again if I ever make it back to Italy. Luisa was very sweet and helpful when needed.”

“Smooth check-in and check-out to the residence. Good communication with the landlord, friendly. Nice pool where the children swam all the time and the adults too. Good barbecue facilities and pizza oven which we took advantage of. Good, fully equipped kitchen. Lovely surroundings and large plot, beautiful view. Good parking for the cars on the plot. Perfect accommodation for big family (we were seven).”

“Terrific located nearby Santa Margherita ligure , wonderful view. Pitoresk house but the kitchen have some flaws ,missing kitchen cookware and the bed sofa was not so comfortable to sleep in. Great with air conditioning in the bedroom. We can recommend this house and the house owners is very helpful and nice!”

“The property is in excellent condition and well maintained. Very peaceful and tou can hear the church bells every hour. We walked 45 minutes down the mountain to the town of Zoagli on the trail next to the property. Very intense but worth it. This property does have 50 stairs to get access to so prepare accordingly. Would stay here again without question.”

“We stayed with a group from age 3 to 78. The property was huge and beautiful to explore, the pool was cleaned daily, and patios were perfect for dinners. The 2BR poolhouse was perfect for the family with toddlers. We had a perfect view of 3 nights of fireworks for Signora di Montellegro. We did hear the noise from the firing range nearby, but it wasn't that loud and didn't bother anyone in our group. We spent most of the time at the house, and it was the perfect space to eat and play together as...

“The apartment was very stylish and roomy. In a very convenient and nice location. Wonderful deli right outside the front door. A 6 minute walk to the S. Margharita train station. ..... A couple of smallish issues. The power in the apt went out twice in the middle of the night during our 5 night stay. Had to go to circuit box in the lobby to reset fuse switch. “Kan vara det vackraste hus jag bott i, unikt i sitt slag. Välutrustat kök. Omgivningarna magnifika, vandringsleder utanför dörren, havet lika nära. Lätt att ta sej till både Portofino och Santa Margherita, buss precis utanför. Värdinnan mycket trevlig. Här vill man bo.”
