“This place is unique! Definitely geared to those who want to immerse themselves in medieval play with closets and trunks full of costumes. I loved looking at all the furnishings and decor. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of meal prep accessories. The area is so beautiful. We drove into Port Angeles and I just loved the entire area, my first time in the Olympic peninsula. I highly recommend this trip. John Wayne has a marina in Sequim with a top notch restaurant there. Great trip all around!”

“Sam was great, and the house was fun. There is a mountain of board games to play, and there are video games if that is your jam. The decorations are fun. If you are looking for a clean, fun place to stay, check this property out! We would definitely stay here again.”

“We enjoyed our time in the Castle. We had 12 people and it worked great. Kitchen worked well, and we ate on the patio. The lake has been drained and that was disappointing. The lighting controls were confusing, and we never could figure out the AC. I’m sure that might have been user error. The house and plumbing fixtures are dated. We had to verify our payment as the management company said we had a large balance, thank goodness we had our email receipts. I’ve never had that happen before on...

“The rental was comfortable, convenient, and met our expectations. The location made it convenient to get around, but was still away from the world enough that we got some excellent nighttime views and heard the frogs chirping at night. Only thing to note is that if you are movement challenged, this rental may not be for you - especially if you use a wheelchair or walker. The Mexican restaurant right down the street had a good breakfast - the chili verde was on point.”
