“This place is off the highway just a few miles, but very easy to find. A very quiet and peaceful surrounding.”

“I’ve stayed at Surrey Resort twice now and each time has been an exceptional stay. The location is right outside of downtown and walkable so you can just leave your car parked during your stay. Parking is easy with no issue finding a spot. Check in is easy while being informative as you’re staying in a tent and not a room in typical hotel. “There is lots of activities to keep kids and kids at heart occupied. Parking was easy, just be aware that property has pebble road. Bring your own toiletries, they aren't provided.”

“I haven’t been camping in over 30 years so I wasn’t ready to go tough it out in the woods in a standard tent with sleeping bags so this was a perfect middleground for my family and I. The campground is maintained very well, the staff is extremely friendly, they have lots of activities, live entertainment, and the most refreshing pool I have ever swam in. I will definitely be back.”

“Property is wonderful and all the staff were nice . Couple of things I was not prepared for and I wish was more made aware. For me I could do this physically just a bit of sweat but for some older and unfit individual this could be a problem. 1. Tents are up in the hill and you are not allowed to drive cars to your tent they do provide cart however it’s pulling up straight uphill creates not a fun experience and then if it’s hot day vacation starts with torture . “I chose a "Pioneer cabin" that contained 3 beds and a picnic table. I knew going in that it did not include linens, electricity, or plumbing, although the property had wi-fi. Restrooms and for-pay showers were nearby, just down the hill. Staff was truly helpful, could not have been nicer. If I visit again, I'll definitely upgrade to one of the full service cabins.”

“We visited Huttopia Lake George with our family and pets and had a wonderful experience. The campground tents were comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having our own fire pit and grill, which made the stay even more memorable. We spent two nights there and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and outdoor experience. It was a relaxing and unforgettable getaway for both our family and our pets. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend...
