“The host's responds promptly to our query. All the amenities were really enjoyable. kids really enjoyed Jacuzzi, and sauna for adults. The lake view was amazing. enjoyed the view from the living area as well. All bedrooms and Bed were good... nice comfy... enough space in kitchen area with dinning tables for large family.... Kids rooms were also good... .. In Basement lot of entertainment options…. and all indoor games... so many options to play games... and was easy to operate. Sitting area...

“House was beautiful and nicely furnished! The grassy yard was also nice. We had a few fires outside and took the kayaks out one evening. It rained pretty hard one day so we enjoyed the puzzle stash and played card games. Overall a great stay!”

“We had a greag time. Plenty of space for yard and indoor games. There was a large table big enough for all of the adults. The kids loved the bunk loft! Our only complaint was the kitchen could use a few more essentials (mixing/salad bowls) but otherwise we wojld def. come back!”

“Tettegouche Lodge is a wonderful house, perfect for our three generations to gather for a week. Plenty of room - large well-equipped kitchen, plenty of dining space, two living rooms, lovely bedrooms, a screened in porch, an outdoor deck, and balconies outside of the upper bedrooms, overlooking the Baptism River. The owners were very responsive to the few needs we had. This was year 45 of our summer family vacations and Tettegouche rates among the top places.”

You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. They are last on the trail except a campground, so once you’re here, you’ll need to have everything. I came thinking I might get to see the Milky Way since it’s so remote, but there...
